FAQ

What Are Community Groups?

A place to CONNECT, GROW, SERVE, and GO:

  • CONNECT  = SHARE LIFE TOGETHER: Spending time with folks at LHCC and in your community.
  • GROW = EXPLORE THE BIBLE TOGETHER: You’ll dig into the word, and look at what God has to say.
  • SERVE = SERVE TOGETHER: Live out our faith by giving back to the community.
  • GO = MAKE DISCIPLES TOGETHER: Bringing people to Jesus. Helping them understand God better leads them the next steps in their spiritual journey.

Are Tuesday nights the only night?

At first, Community Groups will meet on Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:30pm. However, in January, additional groups will form on different nights.

Is there an age-limit?

There is definitely NO older age limit. Remember, it’s about community not life stage. When it comes to a “younger-age-limit”...(1st) we encourage children, youth, and young-adults to attend the groups created for them but (2nd) we trust the Community Group coaches to identify the specific needs & dynamics of each group.

What about childcare needs?

Each Community Group coach & their group will determine the best way to handle childcare need. The coaches have been given several suggestions for childcare including:

  • The Group could identify a Childcare Home within the Community Group.
  • A babysitter could watch the kids at the actual home of the Community Group.
  • Each family will be responsible for their own childcare.
